SKINCARE HOLY GRAILS | 2021

Skincare is something that I'm so passionate about. Yet, just a few years ago, this really wasn't the case - I really didn't take as much care of my skin as I should've in my teen years but, during my time at university, I really stepped up my game when it came to looking after my skin. Now, dare I say it, I feel like I've really got my perfect facial skincare routine down so I thought I'd share my holy grail skincare products with you. These products (listed in no particular order) are my absolute favourites.

L'Oreal Micellar Water and Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes
If you're a long-term reader of my blog (or just have enough time to scroll all the way into the archives), you'll be extremely familiar with my opinions on these products. They've been absolute staples in my skincare routine since forever. I've never really got on with micellar water from any other brand, L'Oreal is  genuinely the only brand that works for me and I can't recommend it enough. And do I even need to say anything about the Simple wipes?

Rodial Dragon's Blood Hyaluronic Tonic and Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream
Yet again, long-term favourites of mine that I'm sure you'll be well aware of if you've had a scroll through my blog. I've truly lost count of how many bottles of these products I've gone through over the years. They're great, but pretty pricey so lately I've been using them on days when I'm doing an intense skincare routine (i.e. face mask and the lot), rather than every single day.

Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask and Glossier Mega Greens Galaxy Pack
Trust me when I say that Glossier products are life changing. I'm a huge fan of their BalmDotCom (especially the mango one) but these face masks truly are out of this world. I can't recommend them enough. My favourite is the Mega Greens Galaxy Pack (I currently have it on as I write this) and can definitely say that I notice a significant difference in my skin when I use it, as opposed to not using anything. Truly an absolute staple and I don't even want to think about the potential for it being discontinued in the future - what would I do? How would I cope?

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, The Ordinary Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2%, The Ordinary Amino Acids + B5, The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5
If you haven't heard of The Ordinary then, at this point, I'm convinced that you're living under a rock. The brand is a cult favourite and has taken the world by storm and honestly I see why. I purchased these four products back in May (and wrote about my first impressions of them) and haven't looked back since. My skin genuinely has never been better and, again, I can't recommend them enough - are you bored of me saying that yet?

Boots Glow Brightening Mist, Boots Glow Moisturising Cream, Boots Glow Eye Cream
We all love a Boots own brand product, don't we? These are my current favourites from the entire Boots range and a daily feature in my skincare routine. For products that are so affordable - I believe all are around the £5 mark - they've made such an impression and a massive impact in my skincare routine. I especially would recommend the eye cream - it's truly worked miracles for me.

I'm so happy I've finally found the right products that work for me and my skin. As I've said, skincare is so important and I'm so glad that I realised that and really began to look after my skin - I feel like it really changed me and now it's so ingrained into my brain that I won't be slacking on it ever again (phew!). What are your favourite skincare products? I would love to hear your recommendations, and your thoughts on any products I've mentioned in this post!
