2021 READING LIST

One of my goals for the new year is to read more and I already have quite a large stack of books sat in my bedroom just begging to be read, so I thought I'd stick them all together and share my current reading list for - at least the start of - 2021.

Just Saying; It's Not You It's Him and Sorry Not Sorry all by Sophie Ranald

Sophie Ranald quickly became one of my favourite authors last year when I binged a few of her books during that lovely heatwave we had in April and May. I couldn't put the books down so, of course, I wanted to read the rest of her work so here we are with these three books. I've just started reading Just Saying and I'm loving it so far so I have high hopes for all three.

The Right Swipe by Alisha Rai

I love a rom-com and, as much as I hate to admit it, I love a dating app too so this seems like a perfect novel for me and I'm very excited to get stuck into it.

On The Come Up by Angie Thomas

I absolutely adore Angie Thomas and really enjoy her work so I'm very much looking forward to reading On The Come Up. Angie's debut novel, The Hate U Give, is one of my all time favourite books and a novel that I think is so important for everyone to read (please, do read it if you haven't already and - some self promo here - if you want to read some more of my opinions about it, I wrote this piece back at uni) so I'm especially interested to see if On The Come Up is equally as good.

After and After We Collided by Anna Todd

Come on, you've definitely heard of After. I'm a huge fan of the movies (mainly because I fancy Hero Fiennes Tiffin, though) and the fanfic was huge back in the day, so I thought it was time to give the books a read. My best friend Lauren bought me the first two for my birthday but, because I'm a major slacker, I'm yet to read them... I will this year though!

There are so many other books I want to read this year but, to spare my bank account and, quite frankly, the embarrassment that'll come when I ultimately don't read them all, I'm sticking with the ones on this list for the time being but, of course, I'll be sure to do a follow up reading list if by some miracle I do manage to get through them all. But, for now, happy reading to us all!
