If you know me, you'll know that I live in Derbyshire. If you know Derbyshire, you'll know that there's a fair bit of greenery. Fields, country parks, woodland - you name it. Anything to do with the outdoors, you're probably going to find it in Derbyshire. I'm not really an outdoors person in general. I'm definitely more of a city girl. But, living in London for the majority of the year, I like to make the most of the fresh - clean - air and the outdoors when I come home. This week, my brother and I took a walk around one of the big country parks we live near, and - me being me - took some photos and, now, I'm compiling them into a photo diary - so here we are.
In all honesty, I used to avoid this country park. I used to
hate being outside and going on walks. Now? I can't seem to get enough. I absolutely adore being home, and making the most of what is quite literally (I live across the road to one of the entrances to the park) on my doorstep. And it was a lovely bonding experience with my brother, who I don't really speak to as often as I'd like. But, for now, it's back to big city life and London for me. And I'm already counting down the days until I'm back in this fresh country air.
