THE WINTER BEAUTY EDIT

While my make up and skincare routine stays pretty similar throughout the year, there are a few products that have become my go-to beauty products this Winter. Of course, I don't and won't only use these products during the Winter months, but they are simply the products that I've been reaching for most over the past couple of months - my current 'holy grail' make up and beauty products.

The first of my current essential beauty products for Winter is an eyeshadow palette - the Morphe 35F Fall into Frost palette. I managed to snag this for myself back in December and it's honestly one of my favourite palettes of all time, and I am obsessed with the shimmery shades in it. I feel myself constantly reaching to use it and, having paid only £21, it definitely is worth the money.

The next product that I haven't been able to live without this Winter is Vaseline. I always, always, always get dry and cracked lips during the colder months and it's gross, if I'm honest. I hate having cracked lips as it makes it extremely difficult to apply lipstick properly (for me, at least) and it's just uncomfortable so I've been using the Rosy Lips Vaseline recently and it has genuinely been an absolute life saver. Love it.

Sticking with the lips theme, my favourite lipstick for this Winter has been Taupe by MAC. I love to pair this lipstick with MAC's Whirl lip pencil and it creates such a lovely dark (but not too dark) lip. On my skin tone, it comes out as a brown with a slight almost orangey tint - it's definitely not as dark as the Whirl lipstick is, but it is darker than Velvet Teddy and I've really been enjoying wearing it.

As it's Winter, and I barely tan in the Summer (never mind the Winter), I love to bronze up my face using the Benefit Hoola Bronzer - aka my favourite bronzer of all time. I don't do this every day (because who has time for that when they're getting ready in a rush?!) but I do love to do it when I have time. I just think it adds a little more colour to my pale complexion and I really enjoy the look.

I have a fragrance that has become one of my Winter essentials this year - the New York Eau de Toilette by Autograph. If you read my What I Got for Christmas post, you may know that I received this from my parents and I am so in love with it. It's a lovely scent that I would describe as quite woody and musky (though I am awful at describing scents) and I really love it. As I only have the 10ml spray, I am running out very quickly but I will one hundred percent be re-purchasing this fragrance very soon.

I am keeping it brief this time so they were my top five essential beauty products for this Winter and they were all products that I feel myself constantly reaching for on a daily basis and I genuinely really love. I hope you enjoyed this post and I will see you very soon with a new one.
