♡ RIDE OR DIE MAKE UP ♡

I think it's been quite clear that I've gotten into beauty and make up a lot more over the past year or so and I do have quite a lot of make up now (side note - should I do a make up collection post?!) so I thought that I would jump onto this bandwagon of sharing my 'Ride or Die Make Up' with the world, on my blog. I know that this has become super popular on YouTube (I believe it was Jaclyn Hill that created the tag), but I've been wanting to do a 'holy grail make up' post for quite some time now so I figured that this is the perfect opportunity to do so - after all, there is no time like the present!

Starting off with a base product, I'm kind of undecided between the Benefit Porefessional primer (it's incredible, I know) and the MAC Prep + Prime Skin primer. In the past, I definitely would've said the Benefit Porefessional primer is my favourite face primer because it genuinely is amazing - I love the formulation and it one hundred percent increases the longevity of my make up. However, recently, I've been using the MAC Prep + Prime Skin primer a lot more, and I've been pleasantly surprised with how much I like this product - it's quite different in terms of formulation and feel on the skin compared to the Porefessional primer, but I like it just as much. I think the MAC primer feels a little more moisturizing on the skin compared to the Benefit product, yet both products do increase the longevity of my make up so I would definitely say that for a base primer, it's going to have to be a tie between Benefit's Porefessional and the MAC Prep + Prime Skin primer.

In terms of foundation, there's one foundation that pops straight into my head - Maybelline's Fit Me Matte and Poreless foundation is my absolute favourite. I am so completely and absolutely in love with this foundation - I reach for it on a daily basis and am always impressed with the consistency, coverage and finish that it leaves on my skin. At £5.99, if you haven't tried this foundation yet, I really, really, really, urge you to go to Boots or Superdrug or anywhere that sells Maybelline and buy this foundation and try it. It's incredible and hands down one of my all time favourite make up products (hence, why it is featured in my ride or die make up blog post).

I always talk about how the Seventeen Stay Time concealer is my favourite concealer of all time but (and it's a big but), I recently purchased the Maybelline Eraser Eye concealer and I think that it just might have snatched the top spot from the Seventeen Stay Time concealer. I think this concealer is super great for the undereye and I really, really love the formulation and coverage it gives - it's definitely become more of a staple beauty product for me over the past couple of months!

My favourite powder will come as no surprise to anyone who has read my blog before - the Makeup Revolution Pressed Powder in the shade 'Translucent' is a product that I reach for day after day and really like. It's a great powder just to set my base make up and, as I'm sure I've said before, at £2, you can't really go wrong with this product.

In terms of eye products, my favourite mascara of all time is the Seventeen Falsifeye HD mascara. If you have never tried this product, you're genuinely missing out. This mascara is literally my saviour - it's truly incredible. It's super lengthening and volumizing and really lasts a long time. A favourite eyeshadow palette of mine is, of course, the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani palette. Once again, this palette is incredible - it's super versatile and really pretty. The quality of the shadows is amazing and the pigmentation is beautiful - long story short, it's definitely one of my holy grail eyeshadow palettes and I love it.

MAC's Soft and Gentle is my all time favourite highlighter. I've been obsessed with this product since I got it for Christmas last year and I'm still absolutely in love with it - it's just such a stunning highlight and, honestly, I really don't mind spending the £24 in order to purchase this product because it's so worth it. Benefit's Hoola bronzer is my favourite bronzer of all time - I won't bore you with all the reasons I love this bronzer, because I know it's a very popular bronzer within the blogging / YouTube / beauty community so I'm sure you'll have already heard the reasons why it's so great.

And, finally, MAC's Velvet Teddy lipstick is my all time favourite lipstick - and you may know that already if you're a long term reader of my blog. It's a beautiful matte shade that looks gorgeous on the lips. As I'm sure you'll have gathered by now, I'm obsessed with this lipstick and this is why I'm including it in my Ride or Die Make Up post.

That concludes my Ride or Die Make Up post - I really hope you enjoyed reading all about my holy grail, favourite make up products. I would love to hear all about your personal faves so please let me know, one way or another! Thanks for reading this post and I'll see you very soon with a new one.
