♡ August Favourites | 2016 ♡

I cannot believe how fast this month (and the entire year, actually) has gone - it feels like only yesterday I was writing my July Favourites post! Anyway, it's now September and, of course, I had to share my favourite items from the month of August with you!

The first two items that I've been absolutely loving over the course of the month are both lip products by Urban Decay and they are the Peyote VICE lipstick, along with the Peyote lip pencil. This has honestly been one of my favourite lip combinations over the past few weeks and I'm completely obsessed - I won't go into too much detail because I did write a review post a couple of posts back so, if you would like to know more, don't forget to go and have a quick read over that!

Sticking with beauty products, I've also been loving the L'Oreal Paris La Palette Nude palette in Beige recently. I actually purchased this product on my outbound flight to Lanzarote (for £12.50!) back at the end of July and have been absolutely obsessed with it since. I've found that it's been one of the products that I've been frequently reaching for on a day to day basis and it's an incredible product so I would definitely recommend!

In terms of fashion favourites for the month of August, I'm going to have to say it's been my Quay Australia Quay x Shay Mitchell sunglasses. I've never been one of those people who are sunglasses fanatics (that's always been my Mum), but I've genuinely fallen in love with these sunnies! They aren't the style of sunglasses that I'd typically go for (because of the reflective lenses and shape) but I absolutely adore them and the £36 I spent on them is definitely worth it.

I've been obsessed with The Hills lately, it's on Amazon Prime and I started it when I got back from my holiday and I'd watched the first four seasons in a week. It's not really realistic and I do believe that it's semi-scripted but, either way, I've really been enjoying watching it.

For music favourites from the month of August, I've loved Conor Maynard's Covers album. He's been a long term favourite artist of mine (even more so since I saw him live supporting The Vamps) and I think his covers are amazing so, of course, when he announced an album full of covers and a couple of original songs, I was thrilled. It's a great album so I would really recommend listening to it if you haven't already. I've also been really loving Justin Bieber's new music (or new collaborations) - 'Cold Water' and 'Let Me Love You'. I think they're pretty much the songs of the Summer and I really love them.

I went to my very first music festival this month, and I really enjoyed it. I went to V Festival in Staffordshire - though only for the Saturday because I couldn't get the time off work to go for the entire weekend. I'm not going to lie, the majority of the artists I wanted to see were there on the Sunday (i.e. the day we didn't go), but we got to see the Kaiser Chiefs, Years and Years and Little Mix and thoroughly enjoyed it!
