♡ Stationary Haul | Back to School 2016 ♡

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I'm obsessed with watching and reading stationary hauls on YouTube and in the blogging sphere. I feel like I've mentioned this on my blog before but back to school shopping (specifically stationary shopping) is my favourite thing to do and by far the best thing about going back to school - or back to sixth form, in my case. Because of this obsession, I thought that I would share my own back to school stationary haul and get into the school spirit on my blog so these items are just some essentials that are necessary for me and my studying experience.

Pens and highlighters are quite obviously essentials for study - highlighters are my fave and they generally help me pick out the important information in texts (and they make it look prettier!).

I picked up this ringbinder from Tesco and, to go with the folder, I had to get some plastic wallets to keep everything neat and tidy in my folder. I only picked up one folder because I already have one with the start of my year 13 sociology in so I didn't need to purchase another, but I do need to go and get another for my other English - I like to have different patterned ringbinders because it helps to differentiate between each subject.

Paper is an essential for school and, I'm not sure if it's just my school but when you get to sixth form, you don't get given books and have to provide your own paper so I like to get a few refill pads because it makes it easier to rip sheets out, and it saves carrying around three notebooks along with all of my folders. This one is from Sainsburys but I'm unable to tell you the price (I lost the receipt).

Also from Sainsburys are these pencils and set of three document wallets. I like to have document wallets to keep miscellaneous sheets or important documents tidy and un-creased - I'm also going to use one of these wallets to keep all of my university information and all of those important things in, and I'm not sure what I'm going to use the third folder for. Pencils are pretty self explanatory but I picked them up because I am doing photography at A Level and it makes it easier to measure out spacing et cetera if you use a pencil (you can rub out your markings after!).

Speaking of rubbing out lines and markings, I picked up these macaron rubbers from Paperchase. Don't be fooled, though, there were six in the pack but my friend and I decided to split the cost (they were only £4 in total) and split the pack because, let's face it: who needs six of the same rubbers?

I popped into Wilko (aka my place of employment) and picked up this pack of Stabilo fineliners and a new memory stick because, 1) bright colours are super helpful for memorizing information, 2) they look pretty and, 3) my last memory stick ran out of storage, so that's kind of important. The pens cost me £5 for the 20 pack so I think that's an absolute bargain (you can't even get the smaller pack for £5 in most shops) and the memory stick cost me £4 - plus I had my staff discount, so that was very successful for me.

I also needed to purchase a new school bag, because I'd had my old one for two years and it wasn't in the best condition so I popped into H&M and found this one for £29.99 and decided to purchase it. I know H&M bags are great quality (my last school bag was from there), and it fits all of my things in so I thought, why not?!

Of course, every year I have to buy a new pencil case (it's just a little unwritten rule that I have) and I do usually purchase mine from Paperchase but their selection really wasn't doing it for me this year so I went to W H Smith and found this super funky duo chrome-style pencil case and I really liked it so, obviously, I picked it up. It cost me £6.99 and it fits everything in it with spare room so it's ideal, really.

And that concludes my little back to school stationary haul - I hope you enjoyed it and have a great back to school season (and great school year in general). I will see you very soon with another post!
