♡ Summer Reading List | 2016 ♡

If you've read some of my previous blog posts, you may know that I love to read (although, I don't always have time to do so) and Summer is the perfect time for me to really take time to do this, and really enjoy reading. I always tend to read a lot during the Summer months, especially when I'm on holiday, so I thought it would be fun to share my current Summer reading list with you guys.

This year, I am one hundred percent reading the Divergent book series by Veronica Roth. I finally watched the Divergent movies this year and, I'm not going to lie, I loved them and I'd even go as far as saying they're some of my favourite movies of all time so, this year, I've made it my mission to read the books since I often find that the books are better than the movie or, in the case of PLL, the TV show.

I also really want to read the Gossip Girl book series this year, as Gossip Girl is one of my fave shows and I frequently re-watch the series on Netflix so I would really love to read the books themselves. Whether this happens this year or not is debatable as I do not own the books and am lacking the funds to purchase them and this current moment in time.

I also would love to read 'Little Black Dresses, Little White Lies' by Laura Stampler this year as I think it could be a great book for me - it's described as 'The Devil Wears Prada meets Sex and the City' with a story about a girl who lands an internship at a magazine in NYC. Ahh, I just think it sounds so me and super interesting. Once again, I do not own the book at this specific moment in time, but it is right up there on my wish list!

Also, this Summer, I think that I might re-read the Lying Game and Pretty Little Liars books by Sara Shepard because, to be quite honest, they are some of the best books that I have ever read and they are so addictive - I literally read them so fast because I couldn't put them down! I would one hundred percent recommend them to anyone.

Finally, my Mum owns Oprah Winfrey's book, 'What I Know For Sure', which I have heard incredible reviews about so I am also planning on reading that during this Summer. I have no doubt that I will enjoy it, and probably read it super fast (as per usual when it comes to reading books I enjoy).

Do you have a Summer reading list? Any book recommendations? I would love to find some new books to read so please, please, please let me know if you do!
