♡ January Favourites | 2016 ♡

It's been a while since my last monthly favourites post but, fear not, I am here today with my January favourites for 2016. I don't actually have too many favourites for this month so this may not be a very long post, but what can you do?!

♡ I've really been loving photography and taking photos using my Canon 700D camera this month. I love how the quality of my images is 100x better than the quality of images taken on my phone and I am super excited for the Spring and Summer months so I can take even more photographs, just with better weather - yay!
♡ I also recently purchased an iPad mini - in the boxing day sales, actually. And I've really enjoyed owning one so far! I find it so easy just to throw (not literally) into my bag and use while I'm on the go, compared to having to take my laptop.
♡ Sticking with the iPad topic, I've really enjoyed using an app called Quizlet to help me revise - well, enjoyed it as much as you can while you're revising! I think it's super helpful to be able to revise while you're out or travelling, without having to take a billion books with you - super handy!
♡ Going onto beauty now, and this may or may not be a surprise to some of you if you saw my review of the MAC x Ellie Goulding collection a couple of posts back. I've been really loving the lipsticks from the collection recently and they've actually become a staple to my everyday make up looks - I find them so easy to wear on a daily basis, especially to sixth form because they're super natural but you feel like you look nice wearing them - perfect!!
♡ I have also been loving my MAC mineralize skin finish in 'Soft & Gentle'. I actually didn't think I'd be the type of person to be reaching for a highlight when I'm applying my make up, but I have been doing exactly that and I'm really loving it at the moment - I may even invest in the other three shades!
♡ On the music front for this month, I've really enjoyed listening to Coldplay's new album - especially their song, Adventure of a Lifetime. I just really really like it and I'm not ashamed to say that it's been on repeat for most of the month - no shame.
♡ For YouTube favourites for this month, I've been really loving Jake Boys and Emily Canham.  They've been my faves for about a year now and their videos are usually amazing but I've just enjoyed watching them (especially their vlogs) even more this month and I'm not sure why.
