OOTD: Shopping in London

Good morning everyone! Today's post is going to be another OOTD post, from when I went to London on my birthday last Sunday (5th October).

A few weeks ago, myself and my Mum decided that we would go to London for the day (on my birthday) because she wanted to visit the Tower of London to see all the poppies, and I wanted to go shopping (shopping is so much better in London compared to Derby or Nottingham - where I live), so we booked train tickets and spent the day in London. At first I didn't have a clue what to wear because the weather throughout the week hadn't been great, and my Dad kept telling me that it was going to be cold - but the weather forecast on my phone said it was going to be 16 degrees and sunny - so I was a bit stuck on deciding what to wear.

However, in the end, I decided to wear my plaid, almost sheer sleeveless shirt from New Look (it was included in a haul post I did back in August) because it's such a comfortable shirt, and I personally think it's really pretty. I paired it with plain black leggings (because I basically live in leggings, and I find that they're probably one of the most comfortable things to wear when you're spending days travelling or walking around a lot) and my black combat boots from Primark (I think they've been included in a post further down my blog too). I wore my black leather jacket from H&M and used my purple, winged bag from Accessorize.

Overall, I found that my outfit was really comfortable and perfect for the weather (it actually was pretty warm and I ended up putting my jacket in my bag!) so, in my opinion, it was a pretty successful outfit choice.

I'm hoping to do a post on my purchases from London for next week's post - I'm so excited to show you guys what I purchased! Have a great week, see you next Sunday!!
