London shopping trip haul!!

Hey guys, as I promised, today's post is a haul post from my shopping trip in London! I have also included a few things that I got as gifts for my birthday, as well as items I purchased in London. There are items of clothing, beauty and footwear so there's quite a variety, haha.

The first thing in my haul is this pair of converse. I had been wanting some white low converse for a super long time (over a year) and I finally got some this year, from my parents  for my birthday present and I love them. They're so comfortable and really easy to wear, and it's a bonus that you can wear them with practically any outfit!

I also got some body shop goodies from one of my friends. I have to admit, I don't really use items from the Body Shop very much because I tend to find that they're quite expensive and personally I'd rather spend money on a cheaper brand because they tend to be just as good, however my friend bought be the mini/travel-size set of goodies (it includes a mini body butter, shower gel and body polish, along with a scrunchie - not the kind you wear in your hair) and I think this size is perfect for a little treat every so often and it's super good to save and take on holiday or trips with you.

My first proper purchases of my haul are from Forever 21, and I'm kinda loving them right now. I wanted to get some black ripped skinny jeans while I was in London, and at first I had my eye on a pair from River Island at £40, but I went into Forever 21 and I spotted a pair that were perfect and I fell instantly in love with them - and they were almost half the price of those at River Island (they were £22!) so I bought them, how could I not?! I've worn them so much since I bought them and I'm so in love with them, they're super comfortable and they fit perfectly. I also bought some hair bows and a set of earrings, because I adore the accessories department in Forever 21 - I can never go in without buying something!

My next three items are all from Avon (I know it doesn't count as something from London but I received all three as a birthday present from my Mum). I got the Big & Daring Volume Mascara, the Avon Gel Finish nail polish in the shade Dazzle Pink, and the Ultra Glazewear lip gloss in the shade Iced Pink. I haven't actually used any of the products properly yet, but I have tested the lip gloss and it's such a pretty colour. I can't wait to use all of these products - I might do a review at some point.

The next few items of my haul are all nail polishes - I paint my nails a lot and my friends seem to have noticed haha! Firstly, my friend Natasha got me some nail polish which is from the Primark nails range (I'm not entirely sure what it's actually called) in like a shimmery purple colour and a kind of a mint green colour - and I really love the colours, I'm super excited to use them. The next two nail polishes were purchased for me by my friend Rebecca. They're from the Maybelline New York Colour Show range, in the shades 'Peach Pie' and 'Love This Sweater'. I really love these colours because I think that they're a great way to brighten up an outfit that's pretty dark, but my favourite shade is probably 'Love This Sweater' because I think it's a great shade for this time of year.

My next two items are both from Topshop. I don't really shop at Topshop very often, purely because I find it quite expensive, but I do enjoy going in and browsing, however whenever I'm in London I have to go into the Topshop on Oxford Street - I love it! It's so much bigger and has so much more than the Topshop stores around where I live. I ended up purchasing a shirt that I absolutely adore - it's so comfortable and I love the detailing (I couldn't decide between black and white but I ended up going with white, although I think I may need to go back and find a black one!). I also purchased a bottle of the Topshop Matte Nails in the shade 'Milk and Honey'.

My next item is from H&M, and it's a blue and red tartan skirt. I really do love this item, and I love the material - however I don't know if I want to keep it because of the length. I have quite long legs and this skirt is quite short on me, so I don't know if I would actually feel comfortable wearing it to go out in. However I do really love it, and I wish I could keep it, if only it was slightly longer!

My final item is yet another tartan/plaid item (I really love the tartan trend at the moment, and I think that it's such a great pattern for the Autumn and Winter). I purchased this plaid dress from Dorothy Perkins (yet again, I don't tend to go into Dorothy Perkins but I did have a gift voucher to spend in there). At first, I was just like 'I won't find anything I like in there' but within five minutes of walking into the store, I'd found this dress and instantly fell in love with it. It's such a cute style and it fits really well -  I especially love the colours for this time of year.

I hope you guys enjoyed my haul post - let me know if you have purchased any of these items because I'd love to hear your opinions! I'm hoping that my next couple of posts will be OOTD posts, because I am going to see Ed Sheeran in concert on the 22nd and then I have a birthday party/meal on the 25th so I'll have a couple of outfits to post about! I may end up ordering a few things online so there might be another mini haul post coming your way pretty soon!

Thanks for reading! Have a fabulous week.
