HELP, I'M A SHOPAHOLIC | LOS ANGELES HAUL

Okay so I've been shopping again. And, no, I have no regrets. In fact, I think I've been pretty restrained this time - but you already knew that I wasn't going to go all the way to America and not go shopping, right? I had to make the most of the shops that we aren't lucky enough to have over here in the UK. Anyway, long story short - I went shopping, spent a fair bit of money (but still came back with a fair amount left over!) and here's my haul. Enjoy!

First things first: Bath and Body Works. Bath and Body Works is one of my favourite stores but, obviously, we don't actually have it in the UK so whenever I go to America, I like to stock up. The theme here is basically things for my new uni house - so I picked up three hand soaps (they were on offer at $3 each): Cucumber Melon, Perfect Beach Day and Kiwi Passionfruit - which is actually my favourite of the three.

I also adore the BBW shower gels - kind of random, I know but after receiving the Fresh Sparkling Snow (my favourite scent of all time) one for Christmas, I've kind of fallen in love so I (not surprisingly) picked up four shower gels, again ready for going back to uni in September. I picked up Beach Water Coconut, A Thousand Wishes, Sunset Guava Colada and Magic In The Air.

And, of course, it wouldn't be a Bath and Body Works trip without picking up some hand gels, would it? I won't lie, I wasn't overly impressed with the choice - or lack of - of hand gels so just picked up one of each that they had. I purchased Japanese Cherry Blossom, Hello I'm a Mermaid, A Thousand Wishes, Sweet As Strawberries and Don't Quit Your Daydream but, while I was disappointed in the limited choice, I'm sure I'll get plenty of use out of these so it's not all bad.

Moving on to a little souvenir purchase (or two), we did the Warner Bro's Studio Tour whilst in LA and, if you know me, you'll know how much I love Gilmore Girls and Pretty Little Liars - both shows that were filmed at these studios. I was pretty set on not buying any tacky, overpriced souvenirs on this trip but, clearly, I caved and picked up a Gilmore Girls mug and key ring - again, I just thought 'oh, these would be perfect for my house!' and suddenly I'd bought them. Yes, I need some self control but I think these are great and they'll be super handy to have so, again, I have no regrets.

My final purchases were from - drum roll please - Sephora. Shocking, I know! To be completely honest, though, this is where I thought I'd spend the majority of my money but I only picked up three items. The first of which is a repurchase - Benefit's Porefessional primer - because I have in fact run out of my existing tube; it's a necessity, what can I say?! I also picked up the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray, simply because it's raved about so much and I wanted to see what the hype was all about - I have to say, I totally understand it. I used this setting spray the day after I got home and my make up did not budge one bit during my eleven hour trip in Birmingham. And finally, I picked up one of the Marc Jacobs Enamoured Hydrating Lip Gloss Sticks in the shade 'Mocha Choco-Lata!' - again, my first impressions of this are great. It's a really easy to use product, looks super pretty and feels lovely so it gets a five-star rating from me! I also received a free gift as part of the Sephora Beauty Insider scheme so that was a nice surprise.

So that concludes my little (kind of big) LA haul. Yes, I'm a little bit of a shopaholic but that's fine, right? At least I'm acknowledging my problem - although I do think I'm getting better (ish).
