I'VE BEEN SHOPPING AGAIN ... | MARBELLA HAUL

Hi, my name's Jodie and I have a shopping problem. Seriously, I can't stop spending my money - and that's a very bad thing seeing as I'm now unemployed. As I was in Spain at the start of the month, I decided to treat myself and went on a lil shopping spree - today, I'm hauling my purchases for everyone reading my blog. That's how I can justify my expenditure: 'I'll blog it'. Oops.

As I'm sure you know, in the UK, we lack a Sephora. Spain, however, do not so, naturally, I popped in to have a browse, though, unfortunately, it turned into me spending 80 euros. The first things I picked up were some face masks. I've heard SO many good things about the Sephora face masks and I really wanted to try them for myself so I picked up two - the Pearl face mask which is meant for perfecting and brightening and the Rose face mask, which is meant to be ultra moisturising and brightening. I haven't actually tried the masks yet but I'm very excited to do so, especially as they're sheet masks which are so much better than normal face masks.

Then, I popped over to the Marc Jacobs Beauty stand in Sephora and picked up something that I've had my eye on for months. I've really been getting into lip glosses lately and, again, I've heard a lot about the Marc Jacobs ones and the one that really caught my eye was in the shade 'Pretty Thing' and,  the gloss is very true to it's name, it is a pretty thing. It's a super pretty nude-pink shade and it's so lovely, not sticky at all and has a really nice scent to it. I've been wearing it constantly and I think it's safe to say that I'm obsessed.

My next (and final) Sephora purchase is a highlighter from Becca. I already own the Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop collaboration and was super impressed with it so when I saw Becca in Sephora, obviously I was going to take a peek. Little did I know, I would end up purchasing yet another. I chose the shade 'Opal' and it's stunning. I have to admit, I'm very cautious of purchasing Becca's Shimmering Skin Perfectors because they do smash very easily - the Sephora lady also warned me of this, but I couldn't help myself and had to pick it up, though I did wrap it in toilet paper to stop it smashing in my suitcase.

Moving onto one of my favourite Spanish shops - Ale-Hop. Every time I go to Spain it is a holiday requirement to track down an Ale-Hop store and buy some stationary. In fact, if you're a long term reader of my blog, you may recall seeing my previous Ale-Hop purchases in some old blog posts. I did try to tone back the spending on this trip, having spent so much in Sephora, so I did only pick up four items. The first of which was a new phone case and it's so cute, I'm actually in love. It's this super pretty gel case with triangles, pink watermelons, cherries and strawberries on it. SO CUTE.

Next, I picked up a new notebook as my current blogging notebook (also from Ale-Hop) is filling up very quickly. This one is super pretty and says 'there is no one like you' in Spanish on the cover with this adorable little zebra. The Ale-Hop notebooks are great for (obviously) making little notes and lists in and planning things - i.e. blog posts.

Finally, I picked up two pens from Ale-Hop because, again, they're my favourite pens and they're always super cute (and only cost one euro). The first of which is pink and says 'Donut Worry' and the second is like a pale green shade which says 'positive people change the world' in Spanish on it, which I thought was perfect - especially in this day and age. I also think they'll be super helpful because cute stationary always makes me want to do more!

All in all, I'm very happy with my purchases from Spain and I have no doubt that I'll get plenty of use out of each and every one of them. On that note, thank you so much for reading and I'll see you very soon with a new post!
