CURRENT FAVOURITES | APRIL - JULY 2017

It's that time again, pals - time for yet another favourites post. This is the second instalment of the year and is all about my current favourite things from April right up to today. If you're a frequent reader of my blog, you'll know that these are my favourite type of posts to write and, although I haven't actually had much of a life lately (due to exams and school related commitments), I have got quite a good collection of things I've been loving lately to share with you.

First up are three items that, if you read my Holiday Beauty Bag post, you'll already know I've been loving - they are all from Anastasia Beverly Hills and they are the Master Palette by Mario, So Hollywood illuminator and the Pure Hollywood liquid lipstick. You may recall that  I purchased the Master Palette by Mario back in October when I went to New York and, though I loved it then, I didn't really use it - that is, until recently. I'm being genuinely serious when I tell you that I haven't strayed away from using this palette at all in the past two months. It has very quickly become my go-to eye product and, dare I say it, my favourite palette of all time. It's so incredibly versatile and there's so many looks that you can create with it - it's beautiful and the ABH formula is amazing. The So Hollywood illuminator and Pure Hollywood liquid lipstick are both items that have been on my wish list for a very long time and so, when I had the opportunity to purchase them both, obviously I was going to take it - and I have not been disappointed. Both products are everything I wanted them to be and more and, honestly, Anastasia Beverly Hills has become one of my favourite brands - I am yet to be disappointed by their products.

Sticking with the make up theme, I have a new favourite foundation (as I am sure you may have gathered from it's frequent features in my posts) - the L'oreal True Match Foundation. I purchased this a few months ago and it's now basically the only foundation I use - I even have back ups of the product, that's how much I love it!!

I recently purchased some new converse - actually, my Mum bought them for me so thank you to my Mum for that. Anyway, they are the black dainty converse - a pair that I've had my eye on for a while now and I'm obsessed with them. They're super easy to wear, really comfortable as always with converse and I'm genuinely so happy with them so they have been a definite favourite of mine from the last few months.

For music favourites, I'm not going to surprise anyone when I say that The Vamps are my selection for my music favourites for this instalment. As you may know, they went on tour in April and May - I went to two dates (Sheffield and Nottingham) and had the most amazing time, they never fail to impress me. They are also currently on their Night and Day album launch tour - I went to their Birmingham show in the evening on the 1st of this month and it was incredible, unsurprisingly. Their third album (Night and Day) is released in just over a week and I am so incredibly excited for it so please be sure to check it out on the 14th.

For TV favourites, I have two shows that I've been loving. The first of which will not be a surprise to anyone in the UK as it has, once again, taken the country by storm and everybody seems to be watching it. Love Island. And that's all I need to say. I've been watching it constantly and I'm really enjoying it - obsessed, as some might say. I also started (and finished) a Netflix series recently - I watched Designated Survivor and was hooked. No joke, I watched the entire series in one weekend - it's SO GOOD. Watch it, please, if you haven't already.

So that concludes my favourites post for April to July 2017. As I said, I haven't got an excessive amount of favourites this time, purely because I haven't had much of a life recently, but I am putting a lot more time into my blog over the summer and my aim is to make my content the best it can be so, on that note, see you soon with a new post!
