I'll start off with what my parents got me for Christmas. Firstly, I had my holiday deposit as an early Christmas present from my parents (if you didn't know, I'm going to Croatia on holiday with my friends next year) and I also received some Laduree macaroons in advance, due to them being needed to be eaten within three days of purchase. These are my favourite macaroons in the entire world and it was so lovely that my Mum had thought to get them for me for Christmas.
I received the Real Techniques Mega Set brush gift set which I am absolutely in love with. I've never had any Real Techniques brushes before (though I have used their blending sponge) so I'm very excited about this gift and can't wait to start using them properly. And, they're so pretty!
I always get some new pyjamas every Christmas, and this year was no exception. My parents got me some really lovely cosy pyjamas which I am currently wearing as I write this post, and I love them.
My parents also got me some books - I received the 'Inside Vogue' book by Alexandra Shulman, 'The Amateurs' by Sara Shepard, 'Five on Brexit Island' and 'How It Works: The Dad'. The latter because me and my Dad tend to have the most disagreements in our house and the Brexit book making reference to my continuous annoyance about the referendum.
They also picked up a MAC lipstick for me - in the shade 'High Tea' which had been on my wishlist for quite a while now. It's a Lustre finish and it's so beautiful. I am genuinely obsessed. Along with this, they also picked up some Percy Pigs (aka my favourite sweets of all time) for me.
My friend Nicola gave me another MAC lipstick that had also been on my wishlist for months and months. It's in the shade 'Taupe' and I (surprise, surprise) am in love with it. It's a Matte finish which is my favourite finish of MAC lipsticks and it's stunning so it will definitely get plenty of use from me. She also got me some Galaxy Minstrels to go with this so thank you so much Nicola, if you're reading this. I love them both!
My brother did really well this year (though I do have a sneaky feeling that my Mum actually purchased this and gave it to him to gift me) and gifted me the Chanel Chance Eau Tendre perfume. This is a perfume that I've had my eye on for a while now and so I put it on my Christmas list, thinking 'oh, maybe I'll get it, maybe not' but sure enough, I did receive it for Christmas and I love it. It smells incredible and I have no doubt that it'll become one of my go-to scents.
My lovely, lovely friend Rebecca got me this super cute box of goodies. Containing a travel mug, a little journal, a make up pouch, a gorgeous little key ring, some note paper, some mini chocolate jazzles from The Treat Kitchen and some Malteasers Mini Reindeer. I honestly almost cried when I opened this because it's so cute and so thoughtful. Becky is one of my favourite people in the world and I am so grateful for this present - I love it. Thank you so much, Becky! ♡
My BFF Sophie B got me lots of lovely little gifts. She got me two diffusers (I'm obsessed with diffusers), a pretty little pink candle, some bath and body products, some lovely fluffy cosy socks and some hand warmers - all of which are super handy in the cold Winter days! I am super grateful for these gifts and will no doubt get plenty of use out of all of them so thank you Sophie!
My Auntie and Uncle got me this super cute coaster, along with some money and chocolate which I am insanely grateful for.
Along with these gifts, I was lucky enough to receive lots of chocolate and sweets (always a winner in my eyes), some money and a Ticketmaster gift card which was from my cousin. Like I've said throughout this post, I'm so incredibly grateful for all the gifts I received this year and I feel extremely lucky. Thank you to anyone who gave me a present, money, gift cards, Christmas cards or even wished me a Merry Christmas. I hope everybody reading this had a lovely Christmas. I'll see you very soon with another new post.
