♡ HOLIDAY SERIES 2016: Make Up ♡

As you may know by now, I have a slight make up obsession so choosing which make up to take on holiday with me can be an issue sometimes - so here I am, sharing with you the make up that I'm going to be taking on holiday with me this year. I generally like to keep my holiday make up quite simple, especially when I'm travelling to a hot country, because, let's be honest, who actually wants to wear a full face of make up when it's hot and you're sweaty - gross. Also, the make up I do take on holiday is generally only used at night time, since during the day, I'm generally off doing activities rather than going out for meals and relaxing in ways that won't cause my make up to come off - and, it's hotter during the day!

FACE - In terms of face make up, I actually don't take much at all. I'll be taking my concealer (the Seventeen Stay Time concealer, aka my favourite ever) and some pressed powder - I actually really like the Make Up Revolution translucent pressed powder. I literally only take this face make up in case I need to cover up any spots or blemishes, and to mattify my face, of course. I may choose to take a highlighter with me, in which case I will most likely take the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop highlighter, which I love, but, in reality, the sun might be enough highlight for me!

EYES - Over the course of the past year or so, I've really gotten into eye make up - particularly eye shadow, and this could potentially be an issue in choosing which to take on holiday with me. I definitely do not want to take much with me, since I am only away for a week, so I am planning on taking my holy grail mascara, the Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara, along with one (hopefully I don't change my mind and take more than one) eyeshadow palette, using my concealer as a primer. I'm most likely going to be taking the Urban Decay Gwen Stefani palette with me, since it offers such a huge variety of shades and so you can create various looks using it - it's definitely one of the most versatile eyeshadow palettes I own.

LIPS - Yet another difficult decision in packing make up to take on holiday is choosing which lip products to take. Much like eyeshadow, lip products have also become a weakness of mine over the past year, and I now own a lot. As things currently stand, I think I'll be taking a lip balm (most likely one of the Maybelline Baby Lips), MAC's Viva Glam II lipstick and probably, So Cute gloss by Kylie Jenner (which, I've actually grown to really love!) but who knows?! This could quite possibly change.

Along with these products, I'll also be travelling with skincare products (I've been using the Rodial Dragon's Blood Hyaluronic Tonic lately, which I've been loving), and obviously some face wipes. I may also take a bottle of nail polish, but this is quite unlikely to be completely honest. And, of course, I'll be taking sun cream with me! This is an absolute essential, I can't go getting sun burnt now, can I?!

And on that bombshell, thanks for reading my post and I will see you very soon with another!
