♡ MAC Make Up Collection ♡

Today, I'm here with a super exciting post - believe me, I've been waiting forever to actually post this one! It's my MAC Make Up Collection. Before I start, I would just like to say that I do not in any way have the biggest MAC collection, or the smallest, but everything that I do have, I'm very happy with and I did purchase them myself - with the odd product being gifted to me from my parents for birthday or Christmas presents.

The very first MAC product I ever purchased is the lipstick in Fanfare. It's a really pretty pink shade with a cremesheen finish and it's a lovely lipstick, but I do find that it comes out quite bright on myself - so definitely more of a Spring / Summer shade for me.

When I was in Paris for my birthday last October, I popped into the Champs Elysee Sephora, which actually has a MAC flagship store inside and picked up two new lipsticks - Brave and Velvet Teddy. My parents actually bought them for me, as a birthday present, and I still completely love them both. Brave is a lovely pink nude shade - definitely more pink than nude with a satin finish, and I love it but don't actually tend to wear it very often. Velvet Teddy, however, is my absolute favourite ever lipstick - it's a super super super beautiful brown / pink nude with a matte finish, and it's gorgeous. You probably already know of it as it's definitely a cult favourite and I totally get why, it's incredible.

The products I purchased (I'm going through my collection in order of purchase, by the way) are the Whirl lipstick and Whirl lip pencil. I purchased both of these at the MAC in St Pancras station in London and, honestly, I've never looked back. Paired together, they create an amazing dark lip on myself and the Whirl lip liner also looks incredible when paired with Velvet Teddy. The Whirl lipstick is a matte finish and it feels and looks stunning.

Back in December, MAC launched their collaboration with Ellie Goulding and, of course, I had to purchase a few items, and here I'm going to show you. I purchased the bronzer / blusher duo (it's entitled 'I'll Hold My Breath') and, of course, I got both of the lipsticks (both of which are cremesheen finishes) in 'Only You' and 'Without Your Love' and they're both beautiful. Both are very pretty pinks, with 'Only You' being slightly darker than 'Without Your Love'. I think they're gorgeous shades for every day use and they're just absolutely stunning.

You'll probably know about this product if you saw my What I Got For Christmas or January Favourites posts but, just in case you have no idea, I'll tell you anyway. I got the Mineralize Skin Finish in 'Soft & Gentle' and, once again, it's definitely a cult product but I one hundred percent understand why because it's an incredible product and I adore it.

Next up we've got a more recent release - the Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour in the shade 'Back in Vogue'. It's a very pretty pink shade with a lil bit of shimmer, and it's a lovely product but, unfortunately, I don't wear it very often because, due to the formula, it kind of sinks into the cracks of my lips a little bit - even when I use a primer. So, for that reason, it's not my favourite MAC product that I own, but it's still pretty good.

Now we've come to three products that I purchased back in February half term this year - MAC's Prep + Prime Lip primer, the eyeshadow in 'Gleam' and the eyeshadow in 'Bronze'. I love all three of these products but have a clear favourite in the 'Bronze' eyeshadow - I've been wearing it at any opportunity and I'm completely in love with it.

The most recent MAC purchase of mine is a lipstick from their Flamingo Park collection and it is in the shade 'The Fashion Flock', which is actually an online exclusive, with a matte finish. And, surprise surprise, I love it - although, I'm not quite sure I can pull it off. Well, maybe I'll be able to in the summer or when I'm on holiday but we shall have to just wait and see.

So that's my complete current MAC make up collection, as you can tell, I am very happy with the products that I own and I hope that you enjoyed this lil post. See you very soon with a new one. PS - Does anyone else keep the packaging of make up products?!
