♡ February Favourites 2016 ♡

Welcome back to, once again, another monthly favourites post on my blog! Though February is the shortest month, I've got quite a long list of things I've been loving throughout it and (be warned), there's quite a lot of beauty products in this month's favourites post.

The first thing I've been absolutely and completely obsessed with throughout the month of February is Kylie Jenner's Lip Kit in 'Dolce K', and I'm not going to talk about this product a lot because I do have a review coming up on my blog really, really soon so keep an eye out for that! I've really loved this product and I've actually found myself reaching for it most days while doing my make up - which is actually quite surprising to say it's a liquid lipstick because I've never really reached for my other liquid lipsticks over a normal lipstick before.

The next two products in my favourites are both MAC products (I know, I did it again - oops) and they're both eyeshadows. The first of these two eyeshadows is in the shade 'Gleam', which I would describe as a gold toned pink and it has a Lustre finish. It's a gorgeous shade and I love it, but my only complaint is that it's not as pigmented as I would've preferred but, either way, it's still stunning and I've already got plenty of use out of it, and I know I will continue to do so. The second eyeshadow I purchased from MAC is in the shade 'Bronze' and it's pretty much what it says it is - a stunning bronze shade with a lil bit of shimmer. I have to admit, I didn't know if I'd like this shade as much as 'Gleam' but, actually, it's my favourite from the two. I think it's super easy to wear and I genuinely really love it. It has a 'Frost' finish, and is beautiful.

The next two products I've been loving are both fragrance mists from Victoria's Secret. You may recall that, way back last summer, I purchased one of these in the scent 'Sheer Love' and I actually don't have much of it left, so when I went to Birmingham towards the middle of February, I popped into VS and purchased two more of these heavenly body sprays. I picked up 'Dream' and 'Love Addict'. Both have such lovely scents, but I do have a favourite in 'Dream' - I feel like it's much more fresh than 'Love Addict' and I've generally been reaching for it much more often than my other two - and my other perfumes and body mists. Although these fragrance mists are usually £14 each, I got both of mine for £16 on a special deal for that weekend and I'm super glad I ended up getting them because they smell great.

An album I've been loving lately (and please don't judge me for this) is the Cheetah Girls 2 soundtrack. This is so geeky but the Cheetah Girls 2 is one of my all time favourite movies, and I recently watched it again and I've been listening to the soundtrack practically every single day since. And I have no shame. No shame whatsoever.

On a more serious note (not that I was joking when I say The Cheetah Girls are my faves),  I've really been loving a band called Sundara Karma recently. They supported The Wombats on their UK tour way back in September of 2015, and this is how I discovered them. I think their music is super great and I've actually managed to grab some tickets for their UK tour in March which I'm super excited about so, you never know, you might have a gig review coming up soon-ish if I can slip it into my post schedule.

I've been loving Mini Eggs recently and it genuinely makes me sad that they're limited edition. WHY CAN'T THEY BE A THING ALL YEAR ROUND INSTEAD OF JUST AT EASTER?! As Brad Simpson of The Vamps said 'It's weird how nice mini eggs are man like how can one thing be so nice'.

And, on that note, that's my favourites post for February 2016. I hope you enjoyed it and I shall see you next week with a brand new post - and I'm sure you're going to love it.
