♡ Birthday Haul 2015 ♡

Hello everybody and welcome back to my blog! As you may know, or remember, it was my 17th birthday back at the start of the month so I thought that I would write a quick birthday haul post. I also did kind of a birthday haul post last year, though it was more of a birthday shopping trip haul where as this post is purely gifts I've received. I do want to say that I am not trying to brag or show off about what I got but I thought it would be fun to kind of show you what I got.

You probably know that I went to Paris for the weekend, the weekend just before my birthday (my birthday was Monday the 5th) so the gifts I got from my parents were purchased there - because they knew that I would want to go shopping and therefore didn't buy me anything else. The only shop that I actually went in was Sephora on Champs-Élysées in Paris (obviously) because we completely ran out of time and our feet hurt so much that we couldn't bare to walk any further - I'm not going to lie about that. The first item I picked up was an eye shadow palette - surprise surprise. It's the Pink Eyes Palette by a brand called Lollipops, who I've never heard of before. Anyway, I was in Sephora (as I already mentioned) and I saw that there was a section called Exclusive Gifts from Paris or something along those lines, and this palette was one of the items in the little section. There were so many stunning palettes and products but I couldn't bring myself to get more than one, and I couldn't choose which to get but in the end, I obviously went with the palette which had the most shades that I don't already own - meaning I chose the pink one. I am completely and utterly obsessed with the palette, it's so cute and I'm so excited to use it more and more throughout the next few months.

Sticking with Sephora, in the Champs-Élysées store, there's a MAC flagship stall and, oh my goodness, I've never been so excited about finding something in a store in my entire life (maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but you get what I mean). I'd been crushing on a certain two MAC lipsticks for months now, and everytime I went to look for them in a store, they were out of stock but I finally got them in MAC in Sephora. They are Velvet Teddy and Brave and I absolutely adore them. They're both so easy to wear and ugh I love them.

Okay, I was sort of lying when I said I only went in one shop but the other shop I did go in was a Supermarket type store with a beauty / homeware section so that doesn't really count, right? Anyway, I purchased yet another lip product - oops. It's actually the Elle Mon Crayon Glossy Jumbo Gloss chubby stick. I chose this product in the shade 01 Praline Rose and, once again, I love it and I would definitely recommend it.

The next few things were from my friends and I'm so grateful for everything they got me. I received two CDs (Walk The Moon's album and The Wombats' new album) which are both incredible, I also got the make up bag from Fleur de Force's make up collection for Feel Unique, along with a load of bath bombs, and general bath and body items which are also great. Along with these items, I was super lucky to receive some money from a few people and an Amazon gift voucher from my brother - which I'll be using to order some books with.

As I said before, I am not trying to brag or show off about what I received for my birthday and I'm super grateful for everything I got. And on that note, thank you for reading and I'll see you next week with another post - quite possibly a Halloween themed post!
