PHOTO DIARY: DUBROVNIK, CROATIA

If you follow me on any social media, particularly Instagram, you may have seen that I went to Croatia last week for my first ever girls holiday. As usual, whenever I visit anywhere or go on any trips, I share a photo diary on my blog and that, obviously, is what this post is. So I went to the Dubrovnik area of Croatia - we went for a week (Sunday 9th until Sunday 16th July) and stayed in a lovely resort called Mlini. We actually were self catering and had our own apartment which was part of the hotel(?) Villas Mlini - it was ideal, genuinely perfect for everything we needed and so was the resort. We weren't actually that sure about what would be in Mlini but there was everything we needed for a daily basis - shops, restaurants, beaches, a water taxi stop etc etc. It was perfect.

On the whole, I cannot stress how amazing my trip to Croatia was. As you can see, it's an incredibly beautiful place and I would love to go back - though I really want to visit the Split area of Croatia, next time. I would one hundred percent recommend visiting the country if you ever get the chance. I genuinely don't know what my highlight of the holiday would be, though some day trips that do stand out to me are our trips to Dubrovnik and our day on the Island of Lokrum (it's an uninhabited island and it's basically heaven on Earth). I'm still in my state of post holiday 'depression' and am constantly wishing that I was still in Croatia, though I am going to Spain in September and do have some other really exciting things coming up so I shouldn't really complain!
