♡ October Favourites | 2016 ♡

It's that time again. Happy monthly favourites, everyone! As it was my birthday this month, I've been loving a lot of new things and have had a really great month, so I have a lot to share with all of you.

Let's do music favourites first. The Vamps (aka my favourite band in the entire world) finally released new music, and I couldn't be happier about it - 'All Night' is incredible. It's so different from their typical music but still incredible nonetheless. Basically, All Night is a BOP.

I'm not going to lie, I've picked up quite a few beauty products throughout the month of October - I'm blaming my birthday for that, but I've managed to narrow down my purchases into my top favourites. My first beauty favourite is the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette. I've wanted this palette for so long and my lovely friends got it for me for my birthday and, let me just tell you, I was not disappointed. The quality of the palette is phenomenal and the shade selection is so me. I love it so much and it has definitely become a staple in my make up collection. Another beauty favourite is Colourpop's Ultra Satin Lip in the shade 'Echo Park'. I recently made a Colourpop haul (you may have seen it on my Instagram), when they were offering $4.99 flat rate international shipping, and this was one of the items I picked up. I really wanted to try the Ultra Satin Lip as I am not a fan of the Ultra Matte Lip (I find them way too drying and I generally don't enjoy wearing them), so I took advantage of this shipping offer and I was far from disappointed - I really, really love the product and the formulation is just so much better than the Ultra Matte Lip.

A bit of a random favourite of mine is that I passed my driving test this month (YAY!). I was absolutely thrilled that I finally passed my test and I'm super glad that that's another skill under my belt. I'm considering doing a learning-to-drive experience post so please let me know if that is something you'd like to see on my blog.

Next up is a book favourite and, if you know me, you'll probably know which book it is. The Vamps released their official autobiography this month (on 20th October) and I'm loving it. I always enjoy reading autobiographies and the fact that my favourite band have written one and have shared tonnes of new stories and experiences with their fans makes it even more enjoyable. And yes, I know that I probably sound like a major loser fangirl but who cares? I'm proud of my faves! Oh, also my name is on the We Love Our Fans page - how good is that?!

I finally saw Justin Bieber and Fifth Harmony on each of their tours this month - and I had the best time. I actually won tickets to see Fifth Harmony on their 7/27 Tour in Nottingham on the 11th and I was so incredibly happy about this - myself and my friend, Sophie, wanted to go to the tour but couldn't afford tickets at the time, so I'd like to say that it's fate that we ended up going - and for free! I went to Justin Bieber's Purpose Tour last Friday, 21st October, in Manchester and had a great time - I know he can be quite controversial sometimes, but I genuinely love him. The show was amazing and, I'm not going to lie, I can't stop listening to his music.

In terms of YouTube favourites for this month, I don't actually have too many. Don't judge me, but I've not really been into watching YouTube for the past month or so - it's just not very appealing to me at the moment. With that being said, I do always make time to watch Madison Miller's videos - I only recently discovered her channel but I've really been enjoying her videos lately. Other than that, I've been much more into Netflix lately - I've been re-watching 90210 and have genuinely been loving it. I always seem to forget how good the show is, and I love it even more every time I re-watch it.

And on that absolute bombshell, that concludes my favourites for the month of October. I really hope you enjoyed this little insight into what I've been loving for the past month and will see you next week with yet another new post - I'll give you a hint: New York.
