♡ June Favourites | 2016 ♡

It's that time again! Monthly favourites time. You may be thinking, Jodie, why are you posting your monthly favourites when it's not even the end of the month? Well, my friends, this is because I am currently in London, for something super exciting, and I wanted to do a lil post all about it next week but, of course, I didn't want to miss out on my June Favourites post so I decided to post it this week instead. I'll be honest, though, this month's favourites post is basically all beauty favourites - it's all that exam stress! It makes me go a lil crazy online shopping!

The first of my favourites for the month of June is the Nars lip cover in the shade 'Overheated'. This product is from their Summer 2016 collection and it comes in this gorgeous limited edition packaging and I'm completely obsessed with it. I didn't really know what to expect from the product itself since it's marketed as a 'lip cover', not explicitly a lip creme or liquid lipstick, but I was pleasantly surprised - and it was worth the £21 + £6 shipping that I paid (I ordered mine from Selfridges).

The next of my favourites for the month is an eyeshadow palette from Make Up Revolution - it's the Affirmation palette and I cannot stress how much I've been enjoying this palette lately. It's got the perfect mixture of mattes and shimmers and it's right up my street. I've been loving the more pink and gold shades from the palette but, let's face it, for £8 you can't really go wrong, can you?

I've also been loving MAC's Finally Free lipstick. It's the highly anticipated MAC x Caitlyn Jenner collaboration and I could not be more happy that I chose to purchase it. I was thrilled when it finally launched in the UK and I one hundred percent would recommend purchasing it if you get the opportunity - especially since profits go to charity.

Recently, I purchased a nail polish from the Sinful Colours x Kylie Jenner range (they've recently began stocking the range in Superdrug!), and I'm super impressed with it. I picked up the shade Komando and it's a pink-ish nude shade, which I think has peach-y undertones. It cost £3, and the staying power is incredible - I've had it on my nails for a week now and it still hasn't chipped. I'm very impressed and I will definitely be heading back to pick up some more shades.

Finally, I've been obsessed with James Bay's album (Chaos and The Calm) recently. It was my go-to album for revising and I'm so completely in love with it. It's definitely a must-listen if you haven't heard it already.

Anyway, that concludes my June favourites for 2016. I hope you enjoyed it and I'll see you next week with a very exciting post. XO.
