♡ Autumn Inspiration and Essentials ♡

Autumn is officially here, so I thought that I would write a quick mid-week post with a little inspiration for Autumn with things to look forward to, blah blah blah. I'm super excited about Autumn because it's my favourite season (along with Spring) and I honestly think there's so much to look forward to during the Autumnal months. I also thought that I would include my Autumn essentials for you guys. 

I absolutely adore fashion in Autumn and the cooler months of the year. I think that there's such a huge difference between Summer fashion and Autumn fashion - I love both, but there's just something about fashion in the Autumn that makes it so much better. Boots, coats, eeee I love it all. 

Autumn is when the leaves fall, meaning Summer is officially over. I think that, although by January I typically get bored of the cooler weather, the weather in Autumn (and Winter, actually) is actually quite relaxing. I love the idea of coming home after a long day and sitting with a hot chocolate in front of the fire, and reading my book or watching something on Netflix. It's such a cute thing to do and I find it so comforting and relaxing. 

Autumn means Halloween and this is so exciting to me. For the past few years, I haven't really been interested in Halloween (I've spent most of the recent Halloweens re-watching the PLL Halloween episodes) but this year I'm quite looking forward to it. Even if I end up doing the same as last year (i.e nothing), I'm still looking forward to it - maybe because I have a Halloween themed blog post coming up. Hint hint. 

Oh, Autumn also means my birthday (it's October 5th) and that's also exciting. Anyway, in Autumn, I absolutely adore going out on walks. I love taking pictures and seeing the wildlife and landscape change as it transitions from Summer to Autumn and Winter. I love it.

Going on to my Autumn essentials now. Firstly, my number one, holy grail essential for Autumn is a pair of boots - I love combat boots and Chelsea boots. Secondly - a dark lipstick (I'm going to be using my Nars satin lip pencil in the shade Palais Royal. Third - a comfy jacket or coat, pretty self explanatory isn't it? Finally, candles and blankets are an absolute essential for me - they complete the Autumnal atmosphere and vibe in your house.
