Fathers Day Gift Ideas!

You may recall that I wrote a Mothers Day Gift Ideas post back at the beginning of March, and now it's time to write a Fathers Day Gift Ideas post! I recall mentioning that mothers are extremely hard to buy for, because they are extremely picky - well, I think I used the word 'specific' but, in reality, I have to say that I think fathers are actually the hardest to buy gifts for. I mean, what do you get your dad? Socks? Chocolate? Now they are the picky ones - not mothers. So, call me your fairy godmother, because I am here to help - hopefully, my ideas will help you find something that your father will love.

A super easy idea is some chocolate and a bottle of wine or a bit of beer - it's very simple, but if your Dad likes that kind of thing, it's very effective and you know it won't get wasted or go unappreciated. If you want to go that extra mile or make it more of a personal gift, get your chocolate personalised - I know Thorntons and M&Ms both do this.

For those who love sports, you could get them tickets to their favourite sporting event. From football matches, to golf tournaments and horse racing events, there's something for every sporting fan. You know they'll love it if they enjoy the sport.

DVDs or CDs are always a good idea - especially if they are something your Dad likes or if there's one in particular that your Dad has his eye on.

Take your Dad out for dinner - or dinner and a movie. It sounds simple, and some may think it's boring, but you know what they say: the way to a man's heart is through his stomach! Oh, and you'll enjoy it too.
