What I got for Christmas 2014!

Hello everyone! Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful time over the festive period and had a lovely time celebrating with whoever you were celebrating with. Today's post (as you may have guessed from the post title) is what I got for Christmas. I just want to say that I am in no way trying to 'brag' or show off about what I was lucky enough to receive, and I'm extremely grateful for every single item that I received. Some of the items (more towards the end of the post) are items I purchased for myself using money I received for Christmas.

The first couple of items are gifts that I received from my parents. I was lucky enough to get a new phone from my parents this year, and I got the iPhone 5c in white - and I'm in love with it, it's so great! To go with this, they also got me a super cute phone case which I'd been eye-ing up for a while now and it's from rainydayshop.com. They also got me a onesie - a black and white striped one from Misguided, which is super cosy and comfortable.

The next two items are both DVDs. My brother got me Step Up 5: All In - which I was so happy about because I'm a tiny bit obsessed with the Step Up movies (kinda embarrassing, I know) and I loved Step Up 5 when I went to see it at the cinema in the summer. The next DVD I was given was The Fault In Our Stars, and I was given it by one of my best friends, Nicola, who I went to see it with at the cinema (we went twice!) and it's honestly one of the best movies so I was super happy to get it on DVD.

The next few things are basically all beauty/bath items (and mainly from ,my friends). The first couple of beauty items I received were from another one of my best friends, Beth, who gave me the Ted Baker body sprays along with some of the Ted Baker nail polish (and she also got me Percy Pigs - she obviously knows me well!) which I adore. I also received a couple of shower items and a bath bomb from my friend Ashleigh, and a lush bath bomb from my friend Lucy.

Along with all of these gifts, I received A LOT of chocolate, and some money too - which I'm extremely grateful for (as I am for the other gifts, too). Using the money I received, I chose to treat myself to some other items - some items are from the sales.

The first item I chose to purchase myself is the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. I've wanted this palette for a while now but every time I've said to myself that I was going to purchase it, I've ended up spending my money on something else - oops! However, I did end up purchasing this and I love it, there's such a variety of shades and it's so great.

The next few items are basically clothing/jewelry, and the first is from Forever 21 and it's the Boxy Striped Top in charcoal/cream and I'm super excited about this item because it's such a cute style and I'm pretty certain it'll be so easy to wear - unfortunately, due to the bad weather (and snow) where I live, it hasn't arrived yet, which I'm a bit annoyed about but oh well. The next item is also from Forever 21, and it's the Triangle Charm Layered Necklace, which I'm also extremely excited about as I've wanted a layered necklace for a while now but I've never found one that's a suitable price, and that I really love enough to buy it so when I saw this online I was like 'OMG I have to buy this!' but, yet again, it hasn't arrived yet. The final Item I purchased for myself are the Molly T-Bar Flat Shoes from ASOS - I've been looking for some shoes like this for a few months now and every time I find a pair that I like I either can't afford them at that specific time, or they don't have my size, so when I found these I was definitely going to purchase them - and they were on sale price (reduced from £22 to £8!).

  1. To participate a formal party you always need a good dress. For me, I love wearing a short mini dress. It makes me look sexy and it's comfortable.
